| Name: | Sia, elven troublemaker |

RP account for a troublemaker elf named Sia :)
Quick(-ish) overview:
Presentation: Usually male, blond with light blue eyes and pale skin, but not always. Always adult height. Can appear human or elf (larger irises, subtly-pointed ears.) Never wears leather or fur. Past that, it varies, and he may have his staff (naturally-twisted/braided-looking ent wood with an often-glowing orb in the top):
★ His usual self? In his 20s-40s, mostly-straight hair to just above his shoulders, maybe in a short low ponytail, bangs often tucked behind his ears. Fit enough build. Favors plain clothes in earthy tones like greens and browns, worn but well-kept. Rather nondescript and unassuming, easily taken to be a peasant/working class rather than royalty. Probably has his staff with him.
★ "Merlin": long straight white hair with moustache and beard, all to his mid-to-lower back. Understated long old worn gray hooded coat with subtle embroidery at its hems, a flat braided belt with a not so fancy jeweled buckle. Peeking from under that, super fine dress/robes, dark blue fading to black and sparkly at the bottom like the night sky. Quiet, careful, thoughtful, deliberate, seems kind, resting faint smile. Definitely has his staff with him.
★ Royalty-of-sorts: very intensely-colored layered dress/robes of fine thin cloth (sparkly/pearly white, gem-like greens and blues), delicate, intricate jewelry (rings, a circlet, earrings, pendant, belt) very long (waist to knees, at his whim) silky light blond hair with a few fine braids in it. Acts the part, seeming patient but serious, calm, deliberate, proper, ~refined~. Probably carries his staff.
★ But closer to modern-day... in his 50s or 60s, silver-and-blond hair, thin-ish. Definitely peasant/working-class vibe, faded knees and elbows on worn old green and brown clothes, nothing remotely fancy. May even have (a lot of) dust on him from gardening or walking around outside. Very quiet, doesn't smile widely or otherwise react much, never in a hurry... not unfriendly, just rather depressed and worn down. Doesn't carry his staff, but probably has a drink in hand.
★ ....and many more, at his whim, though few of those are better-established or favorite roles/personas of his.
History: Vigilante chaos-agent for good, with a kind streak and strong sense of justice, combined with being a shapeshifting character actor and crafter, he's played many roles, including Rumpelstiltskin, a tailor for kings that makes "invisible" clothes, tax-collector-robber bandit types, and Merlin the ancient wizard. Has incredible difficulty settling down in one place for long, so constantly traveled around, helping people in need and taking it upon himself to punish the most wicked people that no one else normally can, especially the humans' rulers. Delights in assisting karma like that, tbh. Constantly pushed to teach the humans how to live in peace and cooperate instead of squabble and backstab and go to war and be greedy jerkwads. (At least the peasantry was generally fine; it was the nobles at fault overall.) ...May or may not have started one or more cults/religions based on peace and love over the many centuries he's been active, as yet more attempts at guiding the humans to do and be better.
However, sometime in the 1400s to 1500s, this changed: after Sleeping Beauty's events went down, he played the role of Merlin again for the newlyweds' combined kingdom throughout their reign to advise them and make sure they prospered in a new little golden era... and then seemingly dropped out of existence afterwards. He spent the following centuries chasing down the few others of his own kind left, primarily searching for his BFF Mallia, only to finally give up when the trail went cold. Broken and defeated by the loss of his oldest friend, that cherry on top of the train-of-losses sundae, he turned to gardening and drink-making, hermiting from the world at large in the middle of nowhere, France.
Abilities: Elder fae (elf) - he's a manifested spirit with his original body's mummy/skeleton still inside him, hence size/shape shapeshifting restrictions (not able to go smaller than it, but bigger is fine, to a point). Highly skilled mage, great with illusions, healing, conjuration of minor things, elemental-type things like lighting candles and chilling drinks, telekinesis/force/wind effects... very skilled at subtler uses/touches, rather than relying on grand gestures of magic that need more power to pull off (his own natural MP tank/mana pool is pretty small and best used sparingly, but he can make full use of the MP batteries Mallia provides). Con artist, forger, has dabbled (sometimes extensively studied) most traditional trades, such as carpentry, painting, performance (singing, dancing), cooking, basically if you name it, he's tried it. Super self-sufficient in daily life without advanced tech; is at least a good two thousand years old (he's almost certainly older than Mallia), and has been active the entire time. Also very quick to pick up languages to at least mostly getting by in brief chats, if not actual conversational fluency. He even knows how to fight, technically, though he dislikes doing so.
Personality: Strong sense of right/wrong and justice, including being kind/generous and helping out those in need, as well as merrily assisting karma against those who deserve a good swift kick in the NOPE. Solidly in the Chaotic Neutral to Chaotic Good range.
Superficially: Charming, carefree, fun-loving, a bit spontaneous, adventurous, possibly mischievous, kinda restless in the grand scheme of things, wanderlust driving him to travel every so often. Tends not to get attached to anyone/anything much.
Under that: Desperately lonely, increasingly jaded and dissatisfied with the world around him thanks to the often-violent loss of his kind (the fae as a whole, not just elves) at humankind's arrogant, selfish, aggressively ignorant and overall disrespectful and belligerent hands. His refusal to stay long in one place and get attached, or focus on much outside current matters, is a coping mechanism: he's an immortal who's had his community of fellow immortals ripped away from him repeatedly. Attaching himself to anyone as is natural to do only opens him to more pain at the seemingly inevitable loss, and he can't take much more of that. He's manipulative; if/when he's being dishonest, it's hard to tell. Can be difficult to get him truly invested in something, outside of trying to even scales and try to get humans in general to be better. (But as time goes on, he's having more and more trouble clinging to the hope that doing so somehow isn't a lost cause. Even after he's written off his own kind's survival, he just wants the humans to be better, for their own people's sakes....)
Quick permissions: Most stuff = very likely yes, green light, go right ahead. Just give me a heads-up, and I'll help! (He can't actually be killed normally, if that's a consideration, because he's technically already long dead....)
